On any given day in 2016, over 40 million people were victims of modern slavery, and over 16 million of them were enslaved in the private sector, including global supply chains. Despite the progress made by the business community, governments, and human rights NGOs, traces of modern slavery can be found in hundreds of products sold on the high street, from chocolate and gold to prawns and textile.

The QIMA infographic below presents the summary of the report’s findings: from the geographic and industry spread of modern slavery, to possible solutions for this grave and complex issue.
